The LEGO Group exhibited its newest artwork, the LEGO Art Vincent Van Gogh – Sunflowers set, on January 28, 2025. The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and the LEGO Group collaborated to create this 2615-piece kit, which recreates one of the most famous paintings in history.
Two lifestyle brick reproductions of Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers will be on display in the Van Gogh Museum and the LEGO Store in Amsterdam starting March 1, 2025, in honor of the release of the LEGO Art set. On March 1-2, 2025, LEGO fans in Amsterdam and Marseille will also have the chance to meet Stijn Oom and have their set signed.
A podcast with museum Curator Nienke Bakker and LEGO Designer Stijn Oom will be available starting March 1, 2025, to provide fans with a more in-depth understanding of the design process and Van Gogh’s life story. You can listen at LEGO.com, YouTube or Spotify.
Fans can build a 3D replica of Van Gogh’s famous painting “Sunflowers” from the year 1889 with the LEGO Art Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers set. This set has moving petals, detachable frame, Van Gogh’s signature, and a hanger element for display. Priced at 219.00 USD | 199.99 EUR | 169.99 GBP, the set is now available for pre-order on LEGO.com and will go on sale on March 1, 2025.
